The following list shows the most recent changes implemented in Frotcom.

New variables for the Driving Behavior: Three new indicators for the Driving Behavior are now available:

• Accelerator used during Cruising Control
• Fast accelerator/brake switch
• Harsh cornering

These indicators are available once you choose the option Use customized score in Administration > Account > Driving behavior.

If you wish to use these new variables, just make sure the firmware version of the tracking devices is up to date.

Sixfold integration: You can now establish an integration between Frotcom and Sixfold directly from Frotcom's interface with a one-click solution:

Trips menu: The menu Trips can now be accessed directly from the top menu bar:

Summarized Subsistence allowance report: The Summarized version of the Subsistence allowance report shows the data grouped by the selected entity:

Add a Place to a message: Some improvements were made in the Interact interface to allow you to send Places in the messages to your fleet:

You can now click on the Attach location button to add the place to the message, as well as copy the coordinates of the place to the clipboard to use and paste it as you wish.

New login interface: The login box has been updated to provide you a better way to switch between the Current and the Next versions of Frotcom, as well as to give you a preview of the latest released features:

New options in the Vehicle status report: Two new options are available for the report: Consider the period for open statuses and Show totals:

With the option Consider the period for open statuses selected, the report will consider the selected period as limits for open statuses (for instance, if the vehicle hasn't changed its last status before the selected period, this status will last until the end of the period). Now, if you select Show totals, a small table with the totals for the statuses will be display at the end of the report.

Local speed alarm - Tolerance in %: With this new option, you can not only configure the Local speed alarm using Speed units (km/mi), but also in percentage:

Search addresses with coordinates in Jobs: You can now search addresses using coordinates in the search box of the Jobs configuration:

Distribution - Filter by date: The Distribution table, where you can find how your fleet is currently distributed geographically, now displays a filter by date where you can check the information regarding your fleet in the past:

 

WFM Alarm: With the new Workforce Management Alarm you can make sure you are informed when specific Forms are sent to you by the drivers:

To configure a WFM alarm, go to Administration > Alarms, click on ADD NEW and choose WFM from the list. In the Definitions tab, you will see the following settings:

Setting	Description
Form	Choose the form that will be connected to this alarm.
Field	Select one field of the form to be used as a rule.
Operator	Use Operator and Value to define a rule for the field you selected above. For instance, you may define a rule to be informed every time a Refuel form is submited with the volume of over 200L (Operator >, Value 200).

Important: If you modify the form (i.e., a new version of the form is created) you may need to re-configure the alarm (you can see the version of the form between brackets after the form name). Also, you may need to wait a few minutes after the setup for the alarm to be in sync with the form.

Vehicle infobox - Customization of Other information: This feature allows you to customize the fields in the Other information panel of the Vehicle infobox based on Vehicle classes or Vehicle types:

Severity levels of Alarms: This new feature gives you the possibility to create severity levels for the alarms. Inside the Alarms list, alarms will be displayed in different groups according to their severity, therefore presenting the user with a cleaner and more intuitive interface.

Local speed alarm: If your account is configured with Advanced Routing (Here Maps) you can now use the new Local speed alarm to monitor the speed of the vehicles of your fleet using the speed limits of the roads:

Once you create this alarm, you must go to its Definitions tab and choose the profile (Car or Truck) and the speed tolerance.

Important: Because the quality of the local speed limits data is still under evaluation, this service may be canceled by Frotcom International if the results are not positive. During the experimental phase (which will end on March 31st, 2020) the service will be free of charge. After the trial phase, the use of this service will involve the payment of a small monthly fee and will require a specific permission to be activated by your Frotcom Certified Partner, per your request. Please contact your Frotcom Certified Partner for more information.

Forms - Default display period: To be in conformity with the messages in the Interact section, the default display period of the Forms section was reduced to two days.

ELD (USA only): Two features regarding the Electronic Logging Devices were added:

• Option to send logbooks to the authorities directly from Frotcom (for office inspections);
• Users (with the right permission) can now edit all events in their logbooks, including Driving time periods.

Improvement of Driving times using Restriction rules: A set of options is now available for you to have control over the calculation of Driving times using Restriction rules.

These rules can be used to calculate Nearest vehicles and Directions, both for a single driver or for Driving teams (allowing the multi-manning):

Complete driving times option in the Infobox: This option includes more information to the Driving times panel of the Vehicle infobox, such as Beginning of the period, Duration of the breaks and Amplitude:

Notes in the Alarms report: In the report of Alarms you have now the option to include the notes registered by the user when an alarm is processed:

To add this column in the report, select the option Include notes after selecting Alarms from the Reports view.

Weekly automatic reports for the past 30 days: With this new option, you can configure automatic reports to be sent on a weekly basis, but covering a period of the past 30 days:

Battery power level for GV608, GL300, and GB100: You can now see, in the Vehicle list, the battery power level of these devices:

Whitelists using Driving license restriction: The Vehicles' whitelists mechanism was upgraded, and as of now, you're able to restrict which drivers can drive a vehicle using Driving license classes:

Users logins report: New report that lists the logins of all the users, both on the web interface and the Smartphone app:

The new report is available in the Reports area.

PRIO cost file type: PRIO is a new cost file type available for selection when you import cost files into Frotcom.

The newest version of the Company Card Reader App comes with a few improvements:

• New installer
• Possibility to run more than one instance of the app on the same computer
• You can now give aliases to your Company cards
• You can choose which vehicles belong to each Company card

Limit of trails in the Map: From now on, if you use the option Show trails from in the Map view, the number of vehicles that can be selected will be capped based on your selection of the period.

The respective limits are the following:

Your account won't be affected if it already uses one of these periods with more vehicles than the limit. The limits will be applied, however, if you ever change the options.

Customized period of Alarms with weekdays: Right now, you can configure an alarm to be only active between some hours of the day.

With this development not only you can do the above, but you can choose which days the alarm will be active:

This configuration is available when you choose Customized period in the option Is triggered from the Restrictions tab of an Alarm.

Erase search results after cleaning the search box: Small improvement, to clean the search results (Address list and Map Icon) after you clean the search box:

Block Fleet and Path mode buttons during the loading: Another small improvement that blocks the Path and Fleet mode buttons during the loading of the page:

Fatigue and distraction alarms: Two new alarms are available to warn you about occurrences of fatigue and distraction of your drivers. These alarms are available for vehicles configured with a fatigue and distraction detection hardware:

Individual permissions for the Advanced Dashboard: The permissions for the Advanced Dashboard were changed in order for you to individually choose which dashboard each user may see:

You can change the users' permissions in Administration > Users - Details - Filtering.

New options in the Context Menu: New options available in the Context menu of a vehicle: Nudge driver, Set start/stop alarm, and Switch drivers:

Nudge driver sends a buzzer notification to the vehicle, Set start/stop alarm allows you to set up a Start/Stop alarm, and Switch drivers rotates between the driver and co-driver of the vehicle.

The options' availability depends on the configuration of the vehicle (for example, only vehicles equipped with a buzzer will have the Nudge driver option available).

Minimum and Maximum values for the options of the Route: Improvement to set the minimum and maximum values to STD, Break and Stop over times of a Route. With this, it's also possible to set negative break times for the trip:

Map UX improvement: Improvement to prevent the Map to automatically scroll in order to open an Infobox. Now the map stays static, and the Infobox will open to the opposite side:

Tachograph Remote Download improvements: Two improvements to the TRD routine are also available:

• Tachograph files downloaded with the incorrect Company card now display the following error message in Administration > Tachograph > Tachographs: "File rejected, downloaded with an invalid company card". Also, the application will not retry to download a file from that vehicle with the same card.
• Non-ADR Tachographs (in vehicles equipped with C4MAX v4 or Falcom Fox 3) now are able to download files at any time (and not only with the ignition off).

Automatic Vehicle status based on Alarms: With this new functionality, you are able to configure Alarms to automatically change the Vehicle status of a vehicle once the alarm is triggered.

For instance, you can set up an Area entrance alarm for a repair center area, and once the vehicle enters this area, the alarm is triggered and the status of the vehicle is automatically changed to Maintenance.

Active routes as a definition of Alarms: Option to configure an Alarm to be active only when a vehicle is inside Active routes:

This option is available in the Restrictions section of the Alarms.

Minimum fuel alarm: New option for the Fuel Level alarm to be triggered when the volume of the tank drops below a certain level:

You can configure the alarm to be triggered after the detection of a Refuel, a Fuel Theft or when the fuel level drops below a certain percentage/volume defined by you.

The same alarm definition may be used for the three options, or you can configure them individually.

Alarms as parameters for the Driving behavior: You can now configure your alarms to be used as a parameter for the calculation of the Driving behavior of your fleet.

For instance, you may configure an Idling alarm and, the more occurrences a driver has of this alarm, the lower their Driving score will be:

To use this option, activate the setting Accounted for driving score under the Destinations tab of your alarm. Then, go to Administration > Account > Driving behavior and adjust the weight of the alarms for the final calculation of the score (as default, the alarms are not accounted for the score, therefore you need to set this limit manually):

Set limits for the Driving behavior's Customized score: If you use the Customized score for the Driving behavior, you can now set your own customized limits for each parameter:

To open this panel and insert the limits manually, click on the Set limits button for each of the customized parameter, in Administration > Account > Driving behavior:

Reports icons: To make it easier for you to distinguish the Reports in the list, all reports now are identified with respective icons:

Reset Reports to default parameters: When you generate a Report, the parameters are saved as user preferences, so the next time you try to generate the report, the parameters will be kept the same. You have now the option to reset these parameters to the default options:

Copy address to clipboard: From any point of the Map, you can open the context menu (right-click on the Map) and choose the option Copy address to have the full address copied to your clipboard:

Upload documents in Notebook: It's now possible to upload files into the notes you create using the Notebook:

To upload files to a note, simply click on the ADD NEW button and choose the files. Most file formats are allowed in the notes, and you will have up to 5MB*[X] of space available for the files (X being the number of Vehicles with GPS available in the account).

To check how much storage space you have left in your account, click on the Hamburger menu > Storage:

New Tachograph type (VDO DTCO 4.0): New Tachograph type (VDO DTCO 4.0) available in Administration > Drivers - Details - Tachograph:

Area entrance/exit alarms with 2 seconds tracking: Similarly to the Overspeed alarm, now the Area entrance and Area exit alarms use the 2-second tracking, meaning that, as of now, they are capable of detecting more events that would otherwise be missed.

Note that even though the positions are tracked every 2 seconds, if an event is detected, it will only be triggered at the end of the one minute period.
