How does it work?
Using telematics data, Frotcom customers managing Krone trailers can now access trailer data automatically, access trailer locations, and manage their trailers more intelligently.
The data transmission is hassle-free and does not require complicated installations or disruptions. As a Frotcom customer, you can quickly access trailer data without additional hardware installations.
With this integration, you can quickly transfer various data types from your assets to Frotcom, including:
- Position (Latitude, Longitude) and direction
- Speed;
- Mileage;
- Temperature sensors (max. 6) and Setpoints (max. 3);
- Door sensors status;
- Fuel.
Some of this information may not be available on your trailers. It will depend on your trailer configuration and settings. Check with your Krone Country Distributor.
You can find more information about Krone here.

Steps to establish the integration
- You will need a Krone contract to the Krone platform to collect data from your assets. New assets will have the telematic services activated but old assets can have their hardware retrofitting to report telematic data.
- After having your Krone account, you must request the data center / API interface (Krone Push) (should be included on your service but please check with your Krone distributor),
