The following list shows the most recent features implemented in Frotcom.

New definitions in the Idling alarm: As of now, you can configure an Idling alarm that will not consider the idling time if the PTO or any Digital input is active:

CANBus - Driver work states report: Precision in minutes: Option to make it possible to generate a CANBus - Driver work states report with precision in minutes (as opposed to the current behavior with 15 minutes):

Important: The precision in minutes is only available if your report configuration is set with the following options:

  • Group data by country = None
  • Grouped by month = No

Fuel level alarm - Show odometer: When a Fuel level alarm is triggered, you can check the vehicle's odometer at the moment of the event in the Alarm details:

Daily activity start alarm - detect late starts: With this development, a new option is available to let you choose if you want to be warned only if the vehicle's first trip of the day starts after the time defined in the selected threshold:

WFM - Messages to Departments, Segments, or Users: Drivers with the latest version of the Workforce Management app can now address messages to a specific Department, Segment, or Frotcom user.

In the Interact interface, you will be able to see which messages were addressed to you or to your Department/Segment with icons next to the messages:

To use this feature, you must give permission for the drivers to send messages to each Department, Segment, or Frotcom user.

For Department/Segments, you must select them in Administration > Organization and activate the following option:

For Frotcom users, select them in Administration > Users > Interact and activate the following option:

Driver App - Alert (Permissions): As of now, with the release of the latest module of the Driver App (Alerts), you can set the permission for the drivers to access the new menu in their app:

Please note that, for the new module to be available, your account must have been granted the permissions to View alarm occurrences

Overspeed alarm with Detailed tracking: Until now, vehicles configured with Detailed (2-seconds) tracking could produce some false-positive occurrences of Overspeed alarms, specially on alarms with geographic restrictions.

With this implementation, the Overspeed alarm will now decode the detailed tracking and process all locations and speeds records every 2 seconds.

Overspeed alarm - Trigger delay in seconds: Following the implementation described above, the Overspeed alarm can now be configured with its Trigger delay in seconds (instead of minutes):

Real-time tracking: The Real-time tracking solution allows you to monitor your vehicles with unparalleled capabilities. With this optimized tracking option, you will be able to follow the vehicles on the map with more precision, have more accurate data to generate reports and receive alerts, and analyze graphs with real-time data:

Fuel management report - records details: In the Detailed view of the Fuel Management (in the Refuelling operations block), you will be able to see the manual records together with the automatic detections:

The value of the refueling event will be displayed in the column Manual records, with a totalizer at the end of the table. Also, a new line below the main table shows the difference between the total of Detection and the total of Fuel Records.

Use the keyboard to navigate in the Graphs: You can now use your keyboard to navigate among your collection of Graphs:

The Up/Down and Page up/Page down keys allow you to select the graph that is immediately above or below your current selected graph, while the Home/End keys let you go to the top and bottom graphs, respectively.

Vehicle and Driver status in Administration > Tachograph: The Vehicle and Driver status now are displayed as a new column in the Administration > Tachograph section. With this, you can see the current status of your vehicles/drivers while reviewing their Tachograph information:

Arrivals and Departures: The Arrivals and Departures is a new view of the Routes with details (Scheduled, Estimated, and Actual times, as well as information about the Places) about the arrivals and departures to places in Frotcom:

Import Route Schedules: This new option allows you to import Route Schedules directly into the Routes module of Frotcom:

Detailed permanence in places report: New option in the Permanence in Places report to present a report where it's detailed every entrance and exit to the selected Places.

To generate this report, select the option Detailed in the Configuration of the report:

Increase the Email Destination field of the Alarms: The maximum number of characters allowed in the Destination field of the Alarms was increased to 1024 characters, allowing you to enter more email addresses:

Toll system: Coupling validation rules: With this new feature, when you try to manually couple a vehicle, an extra validation will be done to check if the vehicle is configured for Toll System BG.

If that's affirmative, then the same validation will be done for the desired asset. Both vehicle and asset need to be configured for Toll system BG for the coupling action to take place.

If not, the following error message will be displayed:

Receiving trailers's alarms messages in the coupled vehicle: As of now, when an alarm configured to be sent to a WFM/NAV terminal is triggered for an Asset with GPS, the alarm message will be delivered to the vehicle associated with the asset.

To remind you of this behavior, when you configure the Destination of an alarm that has at least one Asset with GPS as receiver, an information icon will be displayed next to the Terminal (if you choose either WFM or NAV):

Current driving times: This new view, available in the Summary menu, lists the driving times of all drivers - even the ones that are not associated with a vehicle:

Interact - Filter messages by Drivers/Vehicles: New option in the Interact that allows you to filter and group the messages by Driver and by Vehicle, in addition to the current filters:

In this filter, you can choose to group the messages by drivers (no matter the vehicles they were associated with - including SMS and email messages even if the driver was not associated with any vehicle), vehicles (no matter the drivers they were associated with), or both drivers and vehicles (default option).

Driving behavior events alarm: This new alarm allows you to set up alerts to be informed whenever any Driving behavior event is triggered for a vehicle in your fleet:

To create a new Driving behavior events alarm you must go to Administration > Alarms and click on Add new. After you set up the Type, Description and the Vehicles, you may go to Definitions and choose which events will be watched by this alarm.

Note: the option Accounted for driving score in the Destinations is not available for this alarm.

Visit to places report - Group by Vehicle: With this new option in the Visit to places report, you can generate a Visits to Places report grouped by Vehicles, instead of grouped by Places:

Alarms Report - Information column: The column Information in the Alarms report was updated to display all the relevant information regarding each alarm:

The column now contains all the information (for each alarm) that is displayed in the Alarm details.
