The Current driving times table lists the Driving times of all the drivers in your account - even the ones without a vehicle associated to them.
To be able to use this feature, first make sure your account is using the Driving times restriction rules. This option can be found in Administration > Driving conditions:
Once the account is set up, and the permissions have been granted to the users, you will be able to access the menu in Summary > Current driving times:
You will see the following table:
The columns in this table reflect the information available in the Driving times section of the Vehicle infobox. You may also hover your mouse over the columns to get the full description of them:
You can also use the filters at the top of the table to narrow the list. You can filter by text, or you can select the drivers or sources from the selector:
you can filter by Sources All, or several of the:
- All sources;
- GPS;
- TCO (Frotcom Driving times);
- STCO (Tachograph driving times).
Please note that a driver can have TCO driving times and STCO driving times, the default to show are the STCO Driving times, but if you want to see the TCO driving times, select on the list:
Work information in Current driving times
Select or filter the TCO source to view the following columns:
- Work total (week) — total driving and other work time accumulated during the current week;
- Work only (week) — time registered as other work during the current week, excluding driving;
- Work avg. (17w) — average weekly driving and other work time over the rolling 17-week period;
- Work only avg. (17w) — average weekly other work time over the rolling 17-week period, excluding driving.
Important note 1: Rules to show work values
Work information is only available for TCO driving times.
When STCO is selected:
- The Work section is not displayed in the Vehicle Infobox;
- The Work columns are empty on the Current driving times page.
The 17-week average has been calculated since 2026-07-10. Values reflect a shorter period until 17 full weeks have elapsed. A tooltip is displayed while the history is incomplete.
Availability time is not included in the Work calculations.
The displayed limits are informational. Fleet managers remain responsible for configuring the correct limits and assessing their applicability to each driver.
Important note 2: Rules to show STCO values
Reading all the following fields from the tachograph CAN Bus is mandatory;
- Continuous Driving Time;
- Current Daily Driving Time;
- Driver1 Cumulated Driving Time Previous And Current Week;
- Current Weekly Driving Time;
- Remaining Driving Time Of Current Week;
- End Of Last Daily Rest Period;
- End Of Last Weekly Rest Period;
- End Of Second Last Weekly Rest Period;
- Remaining 10h Driving Time;
- Remaining Reduced Daily Rest Periods;
- Multi Manning Detection Status.
During the testing phase, we found that some fields were missing. To prevent displaying inaccurate data, we decided to discard all the data instead of showing incomplete information in the Infobox and Current Driving Times page.
Important note 3: Tachograph counter driving times
Please note that sending these values may not be enabled on your tachographs,
You'll be able to read-time the driving times directly from the tachograph via reading from the Tachograph Counter functionality – displays daily/weekly remaining driving and rest times on the tachograph menu.
Note that these parameters can be optional on your tachograph - meaning that by default not all the tachographs have this feature enabled/supported from the factory.
For example – VDO DTCO tachographs support the Counter functionality from version 2.0, however in OEM tachograph versions – non-universal tachographs – meant specifically for truck manufacturers i.e. Mercedes/DAF – Counter functionality can be disabled from the factory.
In order to properly read these IO elements with a GPS tracker – the Counter functionality has to be enabled.
VDO DTCO V2.1 tachograph can be updated via “DTCO VDO Counter Update Card” – P/N A2C5951660366.
VDO DTCO > V3.0/4.0 tachographs can be updated via "DTCO VDO Counter License code" - P/N A2C59516603. To check if the real-time driving times will be read from the tachograph, the customer should go to the local tachograph workshop and follow the WorkshopTab (VDO official software) instructions to check/activate the Counter functionality.
Important note 4: Graphs page and Reports information
The Tachograph Driving times will be displayed only in the Infobox and Current Driving Times page. The Graphs and Reports will consider Frotcom Driving Times.
More information about STCO and TCO Driving times :
Note: For accounts using ELD cycles instead of EC561 Driving times legislation (mainly US), the order and availability of columns slightly change.
Important note 5: GPS source
The GPS source of the driving times is displayed when no driver is identified for a vehicle, or when the vehicle has no tachograph data.
