Frotcom TV can show news from two external sources. Any URL containing an RSS source will be usable. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is a standard for channeling news-type messages from a server to other computers/applications.
Here are two examples of RSS news sources:
CNN global news
http://rss.cnn.com/rss/edition.rss
Financial Times economic news
http://www.ft.com/rss/home/uk
You can look for other news sources by Googling "RSS news sources", for instance. You can choose RSS sources from your own country or city, when available.
The RSS Feed sub-panel of the User Preferences > Frotcom TV folder has the following options:
To add a new RSS news source to Frotcom TV, click on the blue link Click to add and insert the url of the RSS feed:
Press Enter key. The following confirmation message will pop up:
To include an RSS feed url in Feed 2, proceed similarly.
