This panel allows you to apply definitions for the calculation of the best route between any two points A and B, even with intermediary points in between A and B.
You can find more details about the calculation of Directions and how to use them in the articles of this section.
Depending on the Map provider associated with the account (Here or Google Maps), this panel contains different definitions.
Here Maps
Here Maps uses Vehicle profiles for the calculation of Directions. Each profile has unique parameters that affect the calculations, therefore it is important to associate the correct profile to each vehicle of your fleet.
By default, there are four profiles available for the accounts (Car, Van, Truck, and Semi trailer truck). You can click on any profile to open its details:
Default profiles cannot be changed, but you can review all the parameters in this panel.
You can also create a new Vehicle profiles based on the default ones. To do so, click on the Copy to new button next to one of the existing profiles:
As opposite to the default profiles, customized profiles can be edited as you wish.
At the top of this panel you can define what will be the Default vehicle profile used in the calculations for the vehicles that do not have any profile selected for them:
Google Maps
Accounts using Google Maps use the Vehicle classes as parameter for the calculation of Directions.
In this panel, you can define the Maximum speed each class consideres for the calculation, i.e., if the vehicle is traveling faster than the limit, this limit will be used for the calculation instead.
At the top of this panel you can define what will be the Default vehicle profile used in the calculations for the vehicles that do not have any profile selected for them:
