CANBus - Driver work states

This report shows the CANBus driver work state changes.

The report considers the states which duration intercepts it’s period, starting from 1 month before the date of the beginning of the period of the report.

 

Configuration

To generate the report, you must configure the following inputs:

Configuration Description
Period

The period the report will be generated for. Options:

  • This month
  • Last month
  • Last 30 days
  • This week
  • Last week
  • Last 7 days
  • Today (Default)
  • Yesterday
  • Other (Maximum 30 days)
Show information by

Here you must choose the the source of the information. It can be:

  • Vehicles
  • Drivers
  • Driver statuses

Once you select one source, you must select which components will be used to filter the report. For instance, if I want my report to be generated for some vehicles of my fleet, I first select Vehicles and then choose their License plates in the next selector:

This does not change, however, the output or the grouping of information in the output of the report.

Group data by country Select here the countries that will be covered by the report (By default, all countries are selected).
Grouped by month If you select this option, the report's format changes to show the information grouped by month.

 

Output

This report can have three different outputs depending on the chosen configuration.

If the options Grouped by month and Group data by country are not selected, the report will have the following format:canbus_1.PNG

 

 

For each Vehicle/Driver/Driver status (depending on the selection of the option Show information by), the report will display weekly information about it. For each week, two tables are displayed: one with detailed data and one with summarized data.

It contains the following data/columns:

Weekly:

Column Description
Day of week Day of the week, Date, and Time the status displayed in this row started
Date
Time
State icon The icon that represents the state
Started in country The country where the vehicle or driver was when the state started.
Duration

The duration of the state

Driver Only presented when the configuration specifies the value of “Show information by“ as “Drivers“ or “Driver Statuses“.
The name of the driver.
Driver 1 state Only presented when the configuration specifies the value of “Show information by“ as “Drivers“ or “Driver Statuses“.
Vehicle Only presented when the configuration specifies the value of “Show information by“ as “Vehicles“.
The license plate of the vehicle.
State slot 1 Only presented when the configuration specifies the value of “Show information by“ as “Vehicles“.
State slot 2
Transition Presents the total duration of the state in cases when the state crosses midnight.
This field exists to make it easier to perceive if the driver made a complete daily rest or a reduced daily rest.

 

If the report is configured to have the data not grouped by month but grouped by countries, the report will have the following format:

It contains the following information:

Column Description
Country

The country where the vehicle or driver was when the state started.

Vehicles The license plates of the vehicles.
This column is visible when the report is configured to show information by driver.
Date / time entrance The date/time at which the driver's state began.
Date / time exit The date/time at which the driver's state ended.
Driving times Time driven by the driver (or co-driver).
Other work Time in which the driver (or co-driver) wasn’t driving but is considered to be working
Driving + Other work The sum of the “Driving time“ and “Other work“.
Rest Time of rest periods of the driver (or co-driver).
Available Time in which the driver (or co-driver) was available.

 

Now, if the report is grouped by month, it will have the following format:

For each driver and day, the report presents the amount of time that the tachograph was in the “working“ state. At the end of the table, it shows the total hours per month.
