Daily summary

This report presents the daily summary of the activity of the vehicles.

It can be generate in two formats: Multiple days (with the selection of the indicators you'd like to see represented in the report) and Single day.

 

Configuration

 

To generate the report, you must configure the following inputs:

Configuration Description
Period

The period the report will be generated for. Options:

  • This month
  • Last month
  • Last 30 days
  • This week
  • Last week
  • Last 7 days
  • Today (Default)
  • Yesterday
  • Other (Maximum 30 days)

Note: If you select any period that covers more than 1 day, the option to show the report in a single day becomes unavailable.

Show report

Here you must choose which format of the report will be generated. Options:

  • Multiple days (Default)
  • Single day
Days

Monday to Friday (Default) - Shows all days of the week, even without data.

Continuous days - only show days with data to show

Show days

Per column - Days are columns

Per row - Days are rows

Alarms to show [Only visible for Multiple days] Select here the Alarm types that will be considered for the report (Default: No).
Aggregate alarms [Only visible for Multiple days] This option defines if the report should show the total number of alarms per vehicle/day, or separate that number per Alarm type (Default: No).

[Only visible for Multiple days] Select here which indicators you'd like to see represented in the report (by default, none is selected - make sure to choose the indicators when you generate the report).

 

You must select at least one of these indicators to be able to generate the report for Multiple days.

 

Output

The output of this report changed according to the options in the Configuration.

If you select Show report = Single day, the output will be as the following:

 

This version of the report generates a table where each row represents a vehicle of the fleet.

It contains the following information for each vehicle:

Column Description
Vehicle The license plate of the vehicle reported in the row.
First driver The name of the first driver of the vehicle on the reported day.
Beginning of the day The time when first trip started.
Odometer

Value of the odometer at the start of first trip of the day (can be either from the GPS or CANBus, depending on the configuration of the vehicle).

Number of trips Number of trips in the day (includes trips started in the day before and trips end in the day after).
Mileage today Distance traveled in the reported period (can be either from the GPS or CANBus, depending on the configuration of the vehicle).
Driver Driver of the last trip of the vehicle in the period of the report (if there was no trip in the period, the report shows the driver at the time of report generation).
Departure time When that trip started.
Departure place Name of the Place (configured in Frotcom) where the trip started (shows "-" if it did not start in a Place, or there were no trips in the day).
Departure address Address of the location where the trip started (“-” if there were no trips in the day).
Arrival time The time when last trip ended (or the end of the report period - whichever ends first).
Arrival place Name of the Place (configured in Frotcom) where the trip ended (shows "-" if it did not end in a Place, or there were no trips in the day).
Arrival address Address of the location where the trip ended (“-” if the trip did not end inside the report period or if there was no tips in the day).
Mileage

Distance traveled in this last trip (can be either from the GPS or CANBus, depending on the configuration of the vehicle).

The mileage unit displayed here is the configured in Administration > Account > General - Preferred mileage and speed unit.

Odometer Value of the odometer at the end of last trip (can be either from the GPS or CANBus, depending on the configuration of the vehicle).

OnTrip Shows "True" if the reported period is the current day, and the last trip was not finish yet.

 

If you select Show report = Multiple day, and Monday to friday the output will be as the following:

This version of the report is rendered as weekly tables (will repeat for every week within the report period), one column per weekday (starting on Monday) and a last column with the week totals (for the columns where totals make sense).

For each vehicle, the report will display the values for the indicators selected in the Configuration of the report.

At the end of this report, another table is presented with the totals for the entire reported period with the following indicators:

  • Number of trips
  • GPS mileage
  • CANBus mileage, when available
  • Travel time
  • Fuel consumption (when available)
  • Number of alarms

 

Note: These indicators are only presented if they are selected in the Configuration of the report.

If you select Show report = Multiple day,  the output will be as the following:
