Administration > Tachograph > Options - Alerts

Tachograph alerts are issued by Frotcom if problems arise in relation to the remote download of tachograph files or driver card files. These are the cases and the texts Frotcom will send by email:

Frotcom alert - Maximum retries without a successful download of a tachograph file: [vehicle ID]

Frotcom has stopped retrying downloading a tachograph file.

Remote download for this vehicle has been deactivated in Administration > Tachograph > Tachographs. After analyzing the possible reasons, you will need to reactivate the remote download for this vehicle, in Administration > Tachograph > Tachographs.

The maximum number of retries separated by one hour; then 30 more retries separated by one day.
Frotcom alert - Maximum retries without successful download of a driver card file:  [driver ID]

Frotcom has stopped retrying downloading a driver card file.

Remote download for this driver has been deactivated in Administration > Tachographs > Drivers.

After analyzing the possible reasons, you will need to reactivate the remote download for this driver, in Administration > Tachographs > Drivers.

The maximum number of retries was exhausted: 10 retries separated by one hour; then 30 more retries separated by one day.
Maximum legal time without successful download of a tachograph file: [vehicle ID]

The maximum period of time permitted by law (90 days) has gone without Frotcom being able to download the tachograph file for this vehicle.

Please proceed with a manual download operation in the vehicle, if necessary, to comply with European legislation. 

90 days have elapsed without having received a tachograph data file.
Maximum legal time without successful download of a driver card file: [driver ID] 

The maximum period of time permitted by law (21 days) has gone without Frotcom being able to download the driver card file for this driver.

Please proceed with a manual download operation in the vehicle, if necessary, to comply with European legislation.

21 days have elapsed without having received a driver data file.
Wrong or unknown tachograph file received

The tachograph file received from vehicle [vehicle ID] does not contain the expected Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

Remote download for this vehicle has been deactivated in Administration > Tachograph > Tachographs.

Please recheck the VIN in Administration > Vehicles > General.

The tachograph file was downloaded but the VIN is not the one entered by the user in that vehicle's details.
Unknown driver card file received 

The driver card file received for driver [driver ID] does not correspond to any known driver.

Please recheck the tachograph driver card number in Administration > Drivers. 

The driver card file was downloaded but the tachograph driver card number contained in the file does not match the number of any driver.
