Administration > Setting user preferences

To set your User preferences, hover the user icon on the top right and click on your username:

You will see the User preferences panel:

You can change the following settings:

Section	Parameter	Notes
Profile	Security	Change your password.
	Photo	Upload your user photo.
General	Vehicles list	Select whether you want to see your fleet's vehicles grouped by class or ungrouped.
	Start page	Select the start page where you want to land after login.  The default option is "Map":
Region	Time zone	Select the time zone corresponding to your location. All times in Frotcom will be shown to you using this time zone.
	Language	Select the language you want to use in Frotcom. Login again for this change to be applied.
	Decimal symbol	Choose the symbol to be used to separate units from decimals; or click the Set language default link to use the default symbol for the language you selected.
	Digit grouping symbol	Choose the symbol to be used to separate thousands, millions, etc.; or click the Set language default link to use the default symbol for the language you selected.
	Currency symbol	Choose manually the symbol to be used to indicate currency; or click the Set language default link to use the default symbol for the language you selected.
Notifications	Messages and forms - Show notification panel	Select if you wish (Yes option) or if you do not wish (No option) to receive a notification message (pop up panel in the lower left part of the web interface) every time a new message or form is received. More details about the notification panel can be found in this article.
	Messages and forms - Sound file	Choose the sound that the system reproduces when a new message or form is received. Additionally, you also have the option of ''No sound'' if you do not wish the system to reproduce any sound. NOTE: in case you define a sound that the system shall reproduce, it is necessary for the computer to have a sound card.
	Alarms - Show notification panel	Select if you wish (Yes option) or if you do not wish (No option) to receive a notification message (pop-up panel in the lower left part of the web interface) every time a new alarm is triggered. More details about the notification panel can be found in this article.
	Alarms - Sound file	Choose the sound that the system reproduces when a new alarm is triggered. Additionally, you also have the option of ''No sound'' if you do not wish the system to reproduce any sound. NOTE: in case you define a sound that the system shall reproduce, it is necessary for the computer to have a sound card.
	Alarms - Special alarms	Select which alarms can have a different alert sound from the once defined above (all the selected alarms will play a different sound).
	Alarms - Special sound	Special sound for the Special alarms.
Interact	Alert when message not delivered	Choose the action that Frotcom will perform in case you send a message and it is not delivered to the destination. In case you selected Yes, the panel will be extended with the Email list and Mobile phone list. You need to fill at least one of these fields (or click the Add from account settings) in order for Frotcom to send you or someone a message informing of the message not delivered situation.
	Forward incoming message	Configure Frotcom to Forward incoming messages to you or someone in case you need to leave your workspace and still need to know if a message comes from a driver. If you select the Yes option, the panel will be extended with the following fields: In the Received from vehicles field you can select the vehicles for which you want message forwarding. You can also specify when you want message forwarding: Concerning the Email list and Mobile phone list, you will need to fill at least one of these fields (or click on the Add from account settings) in order for Frotcom to forward the eventual messages that might arrive.

Note: the regional settings you define in your user preferences panel will be used over the regional settings defined for your account.
