You may want to set some conditions in your search for the best path between any two or more points on the map.
To do that, in the Directions panel click the Options button at the top:
A panel will pop up, in which you will be able to establish several conditions that the path must comply with.
Parameter | Explanation |
Avoid highways | Indicates that the calculated route should avoid major highways, if possible. |
Reorder waypoints to optimize route | To optimize the path, Frotcom is authorized to reorder all way-points. The start and end points will not be reordered though |
Avoid tolls | Indicates that the calculated route should avoid toll roads, if possible. |
Vehicle profile | The travel time will consider the settings you entered in Administration > Account > Directions, for each vehicle class. For instances, heavy vehicles have a lower maximum velocity allowed, in general, than light vehicles. |
Use driving time restriction rules | Select Yes if you want the maximum driving time restrictions defined in Administration > Account > Driving conditions to be considered in the calculation of each trip’s duration and estimated time of arrival. These restrictions are used, for instance in Europe (regulation EC561) to limit the driving times of each driver. |
Use |
If you decide to use driving time restriction rules, as described above, you can now select between two options:
|
After you make your choice of parameters, make sure to Apply. The best path will now respect your new requirements.
