How Snapshots Are Triggered for Driving Behavior Events
The camera snapshot feature for Driving Behavior events is a single on/off setting that applies to all Driving Behavior events detected on a vehicle. It is not currently possible to enable snapshots for specific event types only (e.g., harsh braking or excessive acceleration) — when enabled, a snapshot request is generated for every Driving Behavior event detected on that vehicle.
Note: The Customized score settings are independent of the snapshot feature. Setting an event's weight below 100% (including 0%) only affects that event's contribution to the Driving Score calculation — it does not prevent the event from being detected. As long as the underlying event continues to be detected, a snapshot will still be requested for it, regardless of the weight assigned in the customized score configuration. Snapshots stop being triggered only when the event itself stops occurring.
