Notebook

With the Notebook feature, you can add free text notes related to your vehiclesdriversplaces and clients, apart from creating also generic notes. Notes will stay registered until removed by you or another user with privileges to do so. It also allows you to share information with other users of the same company account.

To access the Notebook feature, click More and select Notebook:

After that, the following screen will be available to you. It displays a list of all the notes that respect the filtering conditions. If you want to know more about Notebook filters, click here.

It contains the following information:

Columns Description
Date/Time This indicates when the note was created.
Username This indicates who created the note.
Note type

This indicates the note type. It can be of the following types: VehicleDriverPlaceClientGeneric.

Related to

This field value depends on the value that you define in Note type. It can have 5 different values:

  • If you defined Vehicle on Note type field
    It concerns the individual vehicle to which this note refers to.
  • If you defined Driver on Note type field
    It concerns the individual driver to which this note refers to.
  • If you defined Place on Note type field
    It concerns the individual place to which this note refers to.
  • If you defined Client on Note type field
    It concerns the individual client to which this note refers to.
  • If you defined Generic on Note type field
    It displays Generic string since it is a generic note.
Note This is the body text of the note.
Changed on This indicates when the note was last modified.
Changed by This indicates who was the last user to modify the note.

 

You can filter notes by date, by type (All / Vehicles / Drivers / Places / Clients / Generic), by user (note author) and you can search freely for any text. When filtering by type, you can also filter for a certain individual of the selected type.
