In the When folder of the New task panel, you are able to define information concerning when the task is to be performed. In other words, you can indicate to the driver the time restrictions for this task. By default, the following panel will be available to you:

This field allows you to indicate the time restrictions for this task. There are three options from which you can choose on the combo box: No time restriction Time and tolerance Following is depicted an example of a task that is to be performed "Today, 12:05" with a tolerance of arrival to a certain place 15 minutes before and 10 minutes after the specified time. Time range Following is depicted an example of a task that in which the driver shall arrive at a certain place between 10th March 15:00 and 10th March 16:00. It is a 1-hour time range. Note: by default, No time restriction is selected. |
Exclusion |
This field allows you to indicate if there is any exclusion rule to the rule defined in the When field. For instance, if you want to define that a task can be executed any time of day except for a certain time window. You can create Exclusions to any of the three values of When field (no time restriction, time and tolerance and time range).To active it, select Yes. Following is depicted an example of a task that has a time range and an exclusion inside that time range. The driver shall arrive a certain location between 9:00 and 17:00 of March 10, except between 12:00 and 14:00 hours:
