Automatic status

Updated

The Automatic status settings allow you to automatically change your status to Driving Time and Breaks or Rest/Other work based on the smartphone's GPS tracker, as long as the Driver app is opened.

To do so, you must tap the Automatic status button in the main screen of the Electronic Logbooks:

You will see the following options available for you:

  • Automatic change status to Driving time: If the Driver app is opened*, and the Driver's current status is Breaks or Rest/Other Work, and if it's detected a movement speed >= 15km/h for 30 seconds, the status will be automatically changed to Driving time;

  • Automatic change status to Breaks or Rest/Other Work: If the Driver app is opened*, and the Driver's current status is Driving time, and if it's detected a movement speed = 0km/h for 60 seconds, the status will be automatically changed to Breaks or Rest or to Other Work, depending on your preference.

* If you're using the Driver app Android version v2.4.1-0 and above, the automatic change of status is also available while the app is in background.

You can activate the options as you see fit (note that you can select Breaks or Rest or Other Work - not the two options simultaneously).

Once activated, you will see a small icon next to the statuses that can be automatically changed:

As of now, if an automatic change is detected, following its rules, the status will be automatically updated, and a message will be displayed to you:
